“At Home” 2 Project – A Partnership for Digital Inclusion and Community Activation of Seniors
EUnet e.V. is a strategic partner in the project “ACASĂ 2 – Community Activation of Seniors in Rural Areas through Digital Literacy and Non-Formal Education Programs”, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA122-ADU programme by Asociația Divina Providența from Romania.
The project aims to enhance social inclusion and develop digital skills among elderly people (65+) from disadvantaged rural communities. To this end, 8 seniors will participate in a training program held in Germany, designed and delivered by EUnet e.V. experts in cooperation with local partners such as Mehrgenerationenhaus Kaisersesch and Kreisvolkshochschule Cochem-Zell.
The learning activities focus on:
- using social media (e.g., Facebook),
- creating video content using mobile phones,
- using translation apps for intercultural communication.
This experience helps combat digital isolation, boosts seniors’ confidence in using new technologies, and opens new opportunities for civic engagement and personal expression.
Through our involvement in ACASĂ 2, EUnet e.V. continues to support digital education, intergenerational learning, and European mobility for vulnerable groups — fully aligned with the European values of inclusion, diversity, and lifelong learning.
August 2024 EUnet e.V. is hosting a new Erasmus+ course dedicated to training educators working with seniors!
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the Divina Providența Association from Romania as part of the Erasmus+ project “ACASĂ – Community Activation of Rural Seniors through Digital Literacy and Non-Formal Education.”
Between August 29 and September 2, 2024, EUnet e.V. will host an intensive 5-day training course focused on developing skills for working with seniors through non-formal education methods and digital literacy.
The course will take place in the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate and will include:
· Training sessions
· Study visits to renowned adult education institutions
· Exchange of best practices between NGOs and European institutions
The goal?
To support the training of 10 facilitators from across Europe who will, upon returning to their organizations, launch an annual digital literacy program for seniors.
We are proud to contribute to a more inclusive Europe, where older adults also have access to technology, communication, and lifelong learning.

“Social Inclusion and Social Art through Inter-Institutional Collaboration”
EUnet e.V. supports social art and inclusion through international collaboration!
Between October 2–8, 2023, students from the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at UNAGE Iași participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program held in Berlin, titled “Social Inclusion and Social Art through Inter-Institutional Collaboration”, with the support of the German organization EUnet e.V.
For one week, participants explored Berlin’s most important museums and art galleries – from the Gemäldegalerie and Pergamon Museum to contemporary spaces such as Hamburger Bahnhof and Martin-Gropius-Bau. At the same time, they worked outdoors using various techniques (watercolor, pastel, charcoal, frottage), and all the artworks created during this period will be presented in a group exhibition in Iași.
As part of the mobility program, EUnet e.V. facilitated online workshops focused on social art and inclusion, addressing essential topics such as migration, solidarity, and the role of art in building a more inclusive Europe.
