\u201cAt Home\u201d 2 Project \u2013 A Partnership for Digital Inclusion and Community Activation of Seniors<\/span><\/b><\/h1>

EUnet e.V.<\/span><\/b> is a strategic partner in the project \u201cACAS\u0102 2 \u2013 Community Activation of Seniors in Rural Areas through Digital Literacy and Non-Formal Education Programs\u201d<\/b>, implemented under the Erasmus+ KA122-ADU programme by Asocia\u021bia Divina Providen\u021ba<\/b> from Romania.<\/span><\/p>

The project aims to enhance social inclusion and develop digital skills among elderly people (65+) from disadvantaged rural communities. To this end, 8 seniors will participate in a training program held in Germany, designed and delivered by EUnet e.V. experts in cooperation with local partners such as Mehrgenerationenhaus Kaisersesch<\/i> and Kreisvolkshochschule Cochem-Zell<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>

The learning activities focus on:<\/span><\/p>

  • using social media (e.g., Facebook),<\/span><\/li>
  • creating video content using mobile phones,<\/span><\/li>
  • using translation apps for intercultural communication.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    This experience helps combat digital isolation, boosts seniors\u2019 confidence in using new technologies, and opens new opportunities for civic engagement and personal expression.<\/span><\/p>

    Through our involvement in ACAS\u0102 2, EUnet e.V.<\/b> continues to support digital education, intergenerational learning, and European mobility for vulnerable groups \u2014 fully aligned with the European values of inclusion, diversity, and lifelong learning.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    August 2024\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EUnet e.V. is hosting a new Erasmus+ course dedicated to training educators working with seniors!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>

    We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the <\/span>Divina Providen\u021ba Association from Romania<\/span><\/strong> as part of the Erasmus+ project <\/span>\u201cACAS\u0102 \u2013 Community Activation of Rural Seniors through Digital Literacy and Non-Formal Education.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

    Between <\/span>August 29 and September 2, 2024<\/span><\/strong>, <\/span>EUnet e.V.<\/span><\/strong> will host an intensive <\/span>5-day training course<\/span><\/strong> focused on developing skills for working with seniors through non-formal education methods and digital literacy.<\/span><\/p>

    The course will take place in the German federal state of <\/span>Rhineland-Palatinate<\/span><\/strong> and will include:<\/span><\/p>

    \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Training sessions<\/p>

    \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Study visits to renowned adult education institutions<\/span><\/p>

    \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Exchange of best practices between NGOs and European institutions<\/span><\/p>

    The goal?<\/span><\/strong>
    To support the training of <\/span>10 facilitators from across Europe<\/span><\/strong> who will, upon returning to their organizations, launch an <\/span>annual digital literacy program for seniors<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

    We are proud to contribute to a more inclusive Europe, where older adults also have access to technology, communication, and lifelong learning.<\/span><\/p>

    \u201cSocial Inclusion and Social Art through Inter-Institutional Collaboration\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h1>

    EUnet e.V. supports social art and inclusion through international collaboration!<\/span><\/strong><\/b><\/p>

    Between October 2\u20138, 2023, students from the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at UNAGE Ia\u0219i participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program held in Berlin, titled <\/span>\u201cSocial Inclusion and Social Art through Inter-Institutional Collaboration\u201d<\/span><\/em>, with the support of the German organization EUnet e.V.<\/span><\/p>

    For one week, participants explored Berlin\u2019s most important museums and art galleries \u2013 from the Gem\u00e4ldegalerie and Pergamon Museum to contemporary spaces such as Hamburger Bahnhof and Martin-Gropius-Bau. At the same time, they worked outdoors using various techniques (watercolor, pastel, charcoal, frottage), and all the artworks created during this period will be presented in a group exhibition in Ia\u0219i.<\/span><\/p>

    As part of the mobility program, EUnet e.V. facilitated online workshops focused on social art and inclusion, addressing essential topics such as migration, solidarity, and the role of art in building a more inclusive Europe.<\/span><\/p>
