\u201cActive Seniors \u2013 Development of Activities at Local and European Level\u201d<\/span><\/b>
(28 August \u2013 2 September 2024)<\/b><\/span><\/h1>

This course is aimed at organizations active in the field of non-formal education and social inclusion of seniors. It is structured into three main modules, designed to develop practical, collaborative, and transnational competences<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>

Module 1: Developing competences for creating non-formal programs dedicated to seniors<\/span><\/b><\/p>

Key activities:<\/b><\/p>

  • Presentation of working models with seniors in Germany (coordinated by EUnet e.V.)<\/span><\/li>
  • Comparative analysis of methods used in Germany and in the participating countries<\/span><\/li>
  • Practical workshops: simulation and design of non-formal activities adapted to the local communities of the participants<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Module 2: Digital Literacy \u2013 from Needs to Solutions<\/span><\/b><\/p>

    • Workshop led by experts from Vatra Limburg: “Digital Literacy for Seniors \u2013 From Needs to Solutions”<\/i><\/span><\/li>
    • Case studies on adapting digital training to the education level and motivation of seniors<\/span><\/li>
    • Teamwork: designing a pilot digital training session<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Module 3: Creating a European Collaborative Network for Senior Organizations<\/span><\/b><\/p>

      Main activities:<\/b><\/p>

      • Presentation of good practices in intergenerational work:<\/span>
        • MehrGenerationHaus \u2013 Kaisersesch<\/span><\/i> (examples of intergenerational collaboration)<\/span><\/li>
        • Kreisvolkshochschule \u2013 Cochem<\/i> (adult education center)<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
        • Dialogues with local experts on NGO \u2013 public institution collaboration in Germany<\/span><\/li>
        • Development of an action plan for establishing a transnational network of senior organizations<\/b><\/span><\/li><\/ul>

          Practical and Evaluation Activities:<\/b><\/p>

          • Each institutional team will develop an annual activity plan for seniors<\/b><\/span><\/li>
          • Initial and final assessment of acquired competences:<\/span>
            • Quantitative evaluation \/ Qualitative evaluation<\/b><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

              Certification and Competence Recognition:<\/b><\/p>

              • All participants will receive certificates of participation issued by EUnet e.V.<\/b><\/span><\/li>
              • In collaboration with the participating organizations, EUROPASS Certificates<\/b> will be issued, certifying the competences acquired in:<\/span>
                • Non-formal education for seniors<\/li>
                • Planning of annual programs<\/li>
                • Digital literacy<\/li>
                • Working with elderly people<\/li>
                • European transnational cooperation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
