Course overview<\/h4>

Our training is based on discovering the \u201cPower of Non-formal Methods \u201c and the introduction will be structured for a better understanding of all non-formal methods indicators.<\/p>

Our work is an excited mixture of groups\u2019 team work, interactive exercises, presentations, brainstorming sessions, case studies, intercultural events and visits, etc.<\/p>

Based on theory of Paulo Freire (dialogue, praxis and education), practice of Augusto Boal (\u201cForum Theatre\u201d, \u201cThe Cop in the Head\u201d; \u201cThe Rainbow of Desire\u201d) and John Bergman (\u201cThe right exercise for the right participant at the right time\u201d), our workshop is a wonderful time of discovering efficient ways through which any information can be send it to students (learners) in a very simulative learning process.<\/p>

Main objectives<\/h4>

The general aim of this course is to share knowledge on using different methods and instruments from non-formal education, developing new and creative approaches in educational process.<\/p>

Enjoying this course, our participants will have:<\/p>

\u2013 growing competences in delivering educational products and information (seminars, trainings, courses, workshops) through a better understanding of Non-Formal Methods and instruments;<\/p>

\u2013 knowledge on non-formal theory and practice for an efficient stimulation of learning;<\/p>

\u2013 growing awareness on non-formal importance approach for social-inclusion of marginalized students, learners;<\/p>

\u2013 growing skills and competences in using \u201cnon-formal methods\u201d for a bigger efficiency of knowledge accumulation.<\/p>

Our participants will:<\/p>

\u2013 acquire knowledge and practical information about \u201cNon-Formal Methods\u201d;<\/p>

\u2013 improve their practical skills related to how, when, with who, to use non-formal methods;<\/p>

\u2013 make contacts with individuals and organisations with similar experience and exchange best practices.<\/p>

Saturday (RED day Atelier)<\/td>\u2013 Participants arrival;
\u2013 Individual orientation and information about the venue and the city;
\u2013 Networking activities, \u201cGetting to know each other\u201d-exercises;
\u2013 Guided visit in town (optional);
\u2013 Welcome dinner.<\/td><\/tr>
Sunday (Orange day Atelier)<\/td>Introduction trainers, participants, project timetable, daily plan activities, institutions;
\u2013 Initial evaluation of participants (questionnaire on adult Learning process, theory of non-formal methods, knowledge on using non-formal exercises);
\u2013 Non-formal exercises for inside (Theory);
\u2013 Practicing inside non-formal exercises;
\u2013 \u201eTreasure Hunt\u201c: discovering our town through a non-formal method;<\/td><\/tr>
Monday (Yellow day Atelier)<\/td>\u2013 Working on small groups: inside exercises adapted for different categories of students (learners with different type of disabilities, needs etc.);
\u2013 Theory on Banking Education (Pablo Freire);
\u2013 Practicing different methods in making the learning process efficient (information spread out to learners) through different non-formal exercises;
\u2013 Group discussion on individual perceptions;
\u2013 Intercultural visit;<\/td><\/tr>
Tuesday (Green day Atelier)<\/td>\u2013 Non-formal exercises for outside (Theory) and the safety of learners;
\u2013 Working on small groups group: outside exercises adapted for different categories of adults (persons with different type disabilities, elderly learners, young people learners etc.);
\u2013 Theory on \u201cThe right exercise for the right learner at the right time\u201d;
\u2013 Augusto Boal (Forum Theatre method), theory and approaches;
\u2013 Practicing in small groups\u2019 selection of exercises for a special target group, for a special part of day, for a special piece of informal delivery;
\u2013 Working on groups: Forum Theatre method;
\u2013 Intercultural Visit;<\/td><\/tr>
Thursday (Blue day Atelier)<\/td>\u2013 Practitioners versus theoreticians;
\u2013 Theory on \u201cWarm up\/Low Intensity\/High Intensity\/Calming & cooling (closure) exercises\u201d (John Bergman theory);
\u2013 Practicing the same exercise on different levels of intensity;
\u2013 Theory about: Drama in Education\/ Education through Drama\/ Drama Therapy and Drama Mediation (Similarities and differences);<\/td><\/tr>
Friday (Indigo day Atelier)<\/td>\u2013 Theory on Non-formal creativity power;
\u2013 Implication of non-formal methods in stimulating education process for involving vulnerable students;
\u2013 \u201cNon-formal back to original place\u201d \u2013 Intercultural Visit;
\u2013 Course evaluation, participants certification;
\u2013 \u201cSee you later Alligator\u201d-Farewell Dinner.<\/td><\/tr>

We are developing all our projects into an inter-institutional and an inter-generational approach because we do believe that collaboration between people with a different background is the key of a real success into community.<\/p>

We know from our trainings experience that non-formal education give resources for an individual development, for a better personal and professional growing.<\/p>

We promote Non-formal activities, methods, exercises in all our projects and we are developing new methods in Adult Learning New-Formal approach.<\/p>

We do believe in \u201eThe Power of Non-Formal\u201c.<\/p>

Course Fees<\/h4>

Course fee (5 training days): 480 \u20ac (350 \u20ac Course + 130 \u20ac organization costs)<\/p>

Amount includes preparation for the course, tuition, training materials, administration costs, organizational costs, half-day excursion in town (no paid entries in Castles, Museums, and events) and coffee-break.<\/p>

Type of certification of attendance awarded:<\/h4>

Europass and Certificate of attendance with description of training content and time input.<\/p>
